Hello Everyone,
So the quilt that I began making for my son last year for his Christmas present in 2016, is now almost complete! The goal was to have it complete for Christmas, 2017. But I didn't quite make it. But in my defense the top is done 3 days after Christmas!

Hello Everyone, Watch Me Wednesday Episode 22 Quiltster Tutorial and Giveaway Wednesday was pretty exciting! I did a tutorial on how to use the "Quilt Coloring" program Quiltster. Please go and like their FB page here : Quiltster And then visit their site here. As many of you know this week it was announced that I am a Designer in Residence. What that means is that they are loading my patterns into their program so that you can place your fabric selections in to see what the quilt will look like before you make it! Cool right? AND it also...

Yesterday, I had another great Watch Me Wednesday! I so enjoyed talking about my African Fabric Stash and the quilt that I made for my husband. What fun it is to collect those fabrics. Do you have any "specialty" or "out of the ordinary" fabrics that you collect?

Hello Everyone,
Are you familiar with Quilty Box? I am, and they are pretty cool! Down to the nitty gritty, it is a surprise for a quilter in a box, every month! How cool is that?
I have received several and can't wait for more. So what's inside the box?
Take a look at what was inside my November, 2017 box and then... read on....
Hello Everyone,
I hope that you have enjoyed the last two blog posts with tons of pics from Quilt Market and Festival? It was so much fun, but tiring. Now onto some more fun... Let's all make my Proud Mary Quilt!! What does Proud Mary look like....
Hello Everyone,
I hope you enjoyed Monday's blog post about Quilt Market. It is truly an adventure for me every year. I love it!! So much creativity in one place. This year was different for me though.... I stayed through, with my friend Lisa, and took a class at Quilt Festival on Tuesday, Market ended on Monday. Then we took a tour around Houston. This was something I had never done.
Hello Everyone,
It has been a very long 2 weeks! Accept my apologies for not blogging for so long.... I spent a week and a half in Houston for Market (wholesale trade show - non public) and Festival (public event). What a whirlwind! Not only were these events in town, but the world series was taking place too! The town was hopping to say the least. Meeting up with friends that I haven't seen in some cases a year, is always fun.
So I wanted to show you a few things from Market first. My friend Lisa came along to help me! The first day was spent at Schoolhouse. I presented my own schoolhouse with my newest fabric line, Blue Moon. Cool and bold blues paired with purples make up this fantastic collection. The yardage is due into shops in January and February. But I have some of the pre-cuts available now here in my shop!!
Here are some of the pics from my schoolhouse where I showed my quilts and projects from the line. I loved designing and creating these patterns and they are available on my site too by clicking here! In addition to the ones that I created, some of my designer friends also played with my fabric in their own designs too!!!
