Hello Everyone,

It has been a very long 2 weeks!  Accept my apologies for not blogging for so long.... I spent a week and a half in Houston for Market (wholesale trade show - non public)  and Festival (public event).  What a whirlwind!  Not only were these events in town, but the world series was taking place too!  The town was hopping to say the least.  Meeting up with friends that I haven't seen in some cases a year, is always fun.

So I wanted to show you a few things from Market first. My friend Lisa came along to help me!  The first day was spent at Schoolhouse.  I presented my own schoolhouse with my newest fabric line, Blue Moon.  Cool and bold blues paired with purples make up this fantastic collection.  The yardage is due into shops in January and February.  But I have some of the pre-cuts available now here in my shop!!

Here are some of the pics from my schoolhouse where I showed my quilts and projects from the line.  I loved designing and creating these patterns and they are available on my site too by clicking here! In addition to the ones that I created, some of my designer friends also played with my fabric in their own designs too!!!

Once schoolhouse was over, we had to take everything to the market floor and set up the booth.  It took a little while, but I think we got it looking pretty good.  Then all the visitors come to the booth to discuss the fabric and the patterns.  So much fun talking with people that also love what they do as much as you.

The Market floor is also chock full of manufacturers, designers, notion companies, showing their newest and finest wares to retailers for purchase.  I get to walk the floor a little bit, when I can sneak away and these are some of the sights.

The other nice thing about market is that the quilt show part is open to us to walk and there are a lot less people going through there than at the public event (festival).  So we can really get up close and personal to the quilts.  Such a treat!  All the quilts are simply amazing... there really aren't words for the talent and beauty on the floor.

These are just a few pics of all the quilts!

Don't forget that I am back for Watch Me Wednesday this week!  Join me on my Facebook page on Wednesday at 1:30 MST for the beginning of our Quilt Along (QAL).  But remember, I live in Arizona and we do NOT change our clocks back.  So now we are 2 hours behind the east coast.  Therefore, Watch Me Wednesday will take place at 3:30 EST, 2:30 CST, 1:30 MST, and 12:30 PST.  I hope to see you here

I hope you have enjoyed the pics from Market!  Next up Festival.

Until Next Time...
