Hello Everyone,

Yesterday was the last day of teaching at a Quiltworx retreat.  I had a great time with these ladies and they were extremely productive!  Although everyone was making something different it was so nice to watch them grow and evolve each day.  One of our favorite things to do beside eat and sew is to hang quilts over the balcony on a nice day and take photos.  I have a few to share as well as the progress on the walls.

Hello Everyone,

Yup, that is right they all have "wedgies".  We wrapped up the final class for the Technique of The Month, Mariner's Compass on Saturday and each student walked out with at least one "wedgie" or one almost together.  What I mean by "wedgie" is they have one of eight slices of a pie done.  You know when you slice into a pie, you get a wedge slice, right? That is what my students have, let's take a look...

It seems like ages since I have blogged!  Ack!! I hate that.  I have been traveling and finally I am sitting down writing this blog post.  I wanted to share some of my travels with you.  One of the things that I love when I travel is the people that I meet and how fabulous each and everyone of them are, truly!! Plus, I have tons of fun too.

So last week I spent the week going back and forth to Long Island to the Huntington Quilters Guild.  First was the lecture, which I shared on the previous blog post.  Then I went back for the Cactus Flower Table Runner workshop.  Here are some of the photos from the workshop.
