Hello Everyone,

As you know we are moving to Arizona in July and we couldn't be more excited!  So much happening all at one time, lots of purging around our house.  You know getting rid of things that we have had for a bazillion years, as well as detaching ourselves from things that we may or may not hold dear.

The upside is that when we get to AZ we can get some super new furniture.  Some of ours is as old as the hills now.... Time to go.  Purging your house is so hard in so many ways, emotionally and physically are the top two.

Anyway, while I was on my book tour in AZ last week I did get to see my house going up!! And of course took lots of pics.  Here are a few...

Hello Everyone,

So last week I spent my week in Arizona on my book tour!  I had a few trunk shows/book signings and classes as well.  My first stop was A Quilter's Oasis in Mesa.  I had such a great night, so much fun meeting all who attended.  And guess what my Mom came too!  Actually she took the pictures that I am going to show you.

Let's get started... Just a few though.. It would be a photo heavy post if I showed them all.  LOL!

Hello Everyone,

This year has really gotten off to a terrific start!  My book tour is in full swing and I am really having a blast teaching from the book.  One of the first classes of the year was my Proud Mary class. This quilt was named after my Nana (short back story in the book). Not only is it one of my most favorite designs in the book, but it is so much fun to teach!!!

Hello Everyone,

I have been remiss in posting on my blog.  With the big sale that we have been having to liquidate our fabrics for our move, it has been quite busy around here.  Plus, I have also started to travel and teach again.

But I am finally sitting down and would love to share some photos of things that I have been up to beginning with my first class of the year!  This class was at Quilts and Treasures in East Longmeadow, MA.  I taught "Dreaming of Pyramids" from my book Splash of Color.  What a fun day we had!

Hello Everyone,

Are you familiar with that feeling of having a quilt top done for a while and not getting it quilted?  Well, I must admit I have many a "quilt top" and they need quilting.  My Glacier Star quilt top has been complete for what I estimate to be about 4 years.  Yup, that is a long time.  But I can tell you I have many more tops that are older than that.... where and when does that stop?  I don't know.

I am feeling a BIG sense of accomplishment over the last few days as I am on the brink of finishing the quilting on my Glacier Star quilt top!!! Yay!!!!  I need to partly because I have to get a Christmas gift onto my longarm and get it quilted and done.

By now, most of you already know that I am moving to Arizona in the summer of 2016.  As part of that we have begun to sell things from our home, clean, purge, whatever you would like to call it.  Let it be know that I have no illusions of it being an easy task... but it must be done!

As part of the cleaning out and purging, CVQW has been running a BIG moving sale over the past two weeks.  You can read about how everything is on sale and what percentage off all product will be each week by clicking here.

Hello Everyone,

This weekend was a fun one for me!  For those of you who are in the Northeast, like I am, we have been having unusually warm weather.  We actually were able to squeeze quite a bit into this weekend and I am slightly exhausted.

On Saturday, I was able to eek in a sewing day at home with my good friend Lisa.  While we were sewing, our significant others were busy hiking, geocaching, and selling some of our worldly goods on Craigs List for our impending move next year.

Since I wasn't with them and only with Lisa, I wanted to share a few pics of our sewing day.
