So last week I spent my week in Arizona on my book tour! I had a few trunk shows/book signings and classes as well. My first stop was A Quilter's Oasis in Mesa. I had such a great night, so much fun meeting all who attended. And guess what my Mom came too! Actually she took the pictures that I am going to show you.
Let's get started... Just a few though.. It would be a photo heavy post if I showed them all. LOL!
First say hello to everyone... see the lady in red in the back? That is Mom!
First up, Lava Lamps. This quilt from my book is probably my favorite. Only two units make this quilt. A great quilt to play with and make your own design too!
This one is a smaller project in the book, It's a Celebration Table Runner and Placemats. Fun to make and take out for those special celebrations... birthdays, graduations, Cinco de Mayo... who knows what else.
My Twirling quilt on the right and the sister Twirling on the left. A modern twist on a classic block.
Seeing Spots, a fun way to play with triangles. Another great design class and the one that I taught here at A Quilter's Oasis.
My original Proud Mary on the left and the sister Proud Mary on the right. This is probably me second most favorite quilt in the book... named after my Nana.
My original Dreaming of Pyramids on the left and the sister Dreaming of Pyramids on the right. A fun, fun, quilt to make and gift!
Want to learn to Paper Piece?? This is one of two quilts in the book that are paper pieced. Jumpin' Jax is a great one to start with.
Crossroads is a fabulous wallhanging with varying techniques. I love this one because it make a statement to me.
My friend Nedra came to the trunk show and I was tickled to see her. It is always so much fun to see her.
And three quilting friends traveled from California and Nevada for the trunk show and class. So nice to spend some time with them!
Until Next Time...
