Hello Everyone,
Today is a day for total randomness. Sharing photos of things that have been happening in my neck of the woods. Sometimes I think I am all over the place with my thoughts and projects, do you ever feel that way? Here let me show you what I mean...
Over the past week I have received more signature blocks for my 50th birthday quilt!
And more... I love them all!
Here is the quilt so far. More blocks keep coming and I am excited about it! If you would like to send a block, just click here for all the details.
Then I had to take this pic of one of my most favorite daylilies in my garden! Pink and yellow... it doesn't get any better than that!
I was also able to spend some time quilting my "A Touch of Spring" Quilt (A.K.A. Chocolate Raspberry Truffle) that I have on the long arm. So far, so good.
Here is another close up too... love so far.
My hubby and I have been fortunate enough to get out for some long walks too! We usually go 6-8 miles in one shot and recently we have seen this beautiful doe. Yup, we were just about 3 feet from her. She didn't seem to mind either.
On another walk along the river we saw this beautiful Blue Heron flying just over the surface of the water.
Then this... a fog rolling in on the river. It was about 6:30 pm and sunny out.
Ahhhh... and my favorite time of the summer, a fresh tomato salad! I live for summer fruits and veggies! LOVE THEM!!
