Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I had the pleasure to teaching another session of Paradise In Blooms.  I was in NY with this wonderful group of student's and their beautiful creations and I would like to share them with you!

Here is Ruth's Applique layout and prior to turning the edges under.

Kenya's progress so far.  The picture really doesn't show the contrast on the inner "Dahlia" flower and the outer flower.  The inner is a beautiful purple and the outer is black.

You can sort of see it here.  Unfortunately the lighting in the room wasn't great today as we had to have the curtains closed as the heat was not that bearable in the room.

Here is Ruth's appliqué turned and placed on the basket background!  Looking great!

Cathy has her complete and it looks fantastic!

Art's applique is ready to go!

Here is Peggy's progress on her quilt.  Looking spectacular!

The detail on Peggy's quilt.  Love the variegated colors that she used in the spikes.

If you would like to see more photos from the class, just click here for some great eye candy!

Also, I have something special for you....

If you go and visit my friend Caroline at Sew Can She, she and I have partnered this week for a great giveaway from all of us at Canton Village Quilt Works!

So click here to visit and get all the detail!  (Her blog post will NOT be up until 10 pm tonight, so make sure you check back)
