Hello Everyone,

As you saw, the first day we arrived in Denver at EQ Academy was filled with fun! But I was also in for another treat... two friends of mine from Vermont were there too!!! I didn't know they would be there either, such a treat!!

After we got settled into the classroom the work began.  We sat down and learned a LOT!!!  Our instructor was Barb Vlack and she was well versed in EQ and showed us lots of tips!  We first had to re-create a quilt that she had up on the white board.  This was to evaluate how much we knew about EQ and how well we could navigate it.

Lisa and I continued to learn throughout the day with a wonderful group of woman.  I can navigate EQ so much better now.  It is kind of surreal in a way as I thought I knew a ton!  But it goes to show there is always something to learn.

After class we went to another quilt shop and look what we found... they had my book!!! We went to Holly's Cabin Quilts.  What a beautiful shop!  Lots of fantastic fabrics!

But it was so much fun going with friends!!  I would do it all over again.

Until Next Time...
