Hello Everyone,
My last class has been taught at Road to California! This one was a two day class. Yup, two days! It was the Vintage Compass quilt by Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx. Such a fun filled class over a two day period.
Each of my students had very different color ways and they were all a delight to see! Mostly all of them were newbies to Judy Niemeyer pattens and they really rocked it! Paper piecing made fun!!
From prints to batiks, each one was different. Perfect spikes, precision pieced! The first day that we worked on two different units. The second day we worked on the outer arcs and templates. Then we discussed and went through the steps of constructing the quilt
. 
All in all they made great progress and their quilts will be complete soon!!! I had such a busy week at Road to California, but it was so much fun! If you would like to see more pics, just click here.
