Hello Everyone,
Definitely trying to get back into the groove of blog posting! So hopefully you can expect more regular posts now that I am getting back into a routine. For today's post I wanted to share with you the Glacier Star Session 1 class that I taught two weeks ago. These ladies are doing a great job and I can't wait for the second session.
The above shows a little sampling of the student's work in the class. In the first session they learn the technique for paper piecing, as well as organizational skills for each part of the quilt. Plus they learn how to cut the papers and template layout sheets and what each are for....
Here they are prepping the papers and cutting the fabrics. Hard at work, with no time to lose...
Labeled fabrics for organization and then determining whether to swap out one fabric for another.
Two finished blocks, simply beautiful. They learned how to do curved piecing. You can see this technique in my video tutorial by clicking here.
She is one happy camper! Now we are looking forward to the next class!
