Hello Everyone,
I have been busily working on this great pattern, One For All Seasons. One of my favorite things about this pattern is that it is quick, beautiful, and only requires 3 fabrics!! If you haven't tried paper piecing or have wanted to try Judy Niemeyer paper piecing this is a good one to try. Yes, there are curves, but don't let that turn you away. Let's take a look...
I began with these little units. These, to me, are like candy and go together really quickly.
Then I began on these beauties. I call them the tiara units. They really are beautiful when they come together.
See what I mean... almost done and then I join them together.
All 16 of each unit are completed, now to sew the curves. Sewing the curves are not difficult and I use this technique. Just click here to see the video tutorial that I made showing you how to piece a curve.
Then voila, the inner curve to join the two units together and as well as the outer template.
Now I get to put them all up on the design wall and begin joining them into this....
Cute isn't it? They are actually not joined yet here, just placed on the design wall. I will finish joining them all together today.
Here are the stats on this little runner:
1. The pattern is found here.
2. The green fern fabric is found here.
3. The mini confetti dots (pink and yellow) fabrics are found here.
I will have pics of the finished runner possibly tomorrow.
Until Next Time...
