Hello Everyone,
Yesterday, was a BIG day. While I was working on the corners of my Paradise In Blooms Quilt, the actual patterns ARRIVED!! Yay! For all of you who have been waiting the patterns are now on the site! You can find them by clicking here. The kits in the Island Batik color way will be up on the site sometime today, so check back.
In the meantime, I want to show you my progress on my Paradise in Blooms...
Here are two of the corner spike units. Two more to go!
I am finishing up the corner units now and these go very quickly. They will be on the design wall soon!
Now to add these spikes to the corners!
Oh look, my sewing partner arrived to oversee my progress for the day.
Here are all the parts for the corners together. This is just one corner of the quilt. I bet you want to see the whole thing though?
Here it is, tomorrow, I work on the baskets for the corners. Then the assembly and appliqué come into play. So hold onto your hats!!!
Oh and look my other assistant arrived too! I guess all this sewing was too much for them. They quickly fell asleep on the job.
