Hello Everyone,
As promised, I am blogging again today!! Yay!!! From Long Island to Rhode Island, I traveled. I had a fantastic time in RI too!! I presented a trunk show on Tuesday evening and then on Wednesday taught the Cactus Flower Table Runner Workshop. I can't say enough about this group of ladies. Some familiar faces too. Loads of fun!!
Let's take a peek...
One of the things that I really enjoy is showing my quilts, and I also love seeing other people's quilts too. They offer much inspiration! After I finished showing my own quilts, my wonderful helpers laid them out on these tables so that everyone could get a closer look. I loved the idea and it looked pretty neat!
Onto the class the next day...
I was teaching the Cactus Flower Table Runner here and these ladies really ROCKED it in every way! The color combos and the technique too. They were fantastic!
Here are the samples all laid out for the ladies to reference. They look kind of nice on the table, don't they? Well they are table runners... LOL!
Donna, was working on this patriotic version. I fell in LOVE! I think the next time I make this it has to be patriotic. With Memorial Day, Flag Day and the Fourth of July coming up.... what could be better?
Tina was making this version, I also loved... Kona Cotton Solids (very modern) and the setting triangles are the background fabric.
Sharon was working on a more "regal" version of the red, white and blue. A little shot of star power... yellow and gold!
Louise was working on this very romantic lilac and green version.
Here they are a very happy class! I really enjoyed working with them!
