Hello Everyone,
It seems like it has been forever since I actually sewed anything. But yesterday was different, I was determined to get some sewing time in and I did!!! Best of all I completed what I set out to do too. So stay with me until the end of the blog post to see how it turned out.
With this little project, I decided to use Kona Cotton Solids. Love the brights.
I paper pieced it using Judy Niemeyer's Charm Elements pack, and chose the Compass Rose paper foundations.
This is the left side units that are completed. Now onto the right side.
Yay! A right and a left. I love them together. Just the bright dreaminess of it all.
They all come together so perfectly. That is the beauty of paper piecing, precision. Gotta love perfect points, right?
The colors and the points just make my heart sing. Would you like to see the whole thing?
Here it is... 16" X 16", it can be a pillow, a table topper, or make a few more and you have a small quilt. But look...
It really is my logo! Not that bad! I love how it turned out. Yes, some of the color are not in the correct placement, but you didn't see it did you? Nope. That doesn't phase me, I will just make another!!
