Hello Everyone,
This weekend was spent wrapping up the last two sessions of the Glacier Star Technique of the Month class in Arizona. This class and the ladies in it were all just fabulous! They had worked very hard on their Glacier Stars for 3 months and accomplished so much. Everyone is turning out so different but so beautiful!!
Kelly finished her Glacier Star (Wall Hanging Size) prior to class and was working on her Queen Extensions in class. She used 1930s fabrics and really did a fantastic job on the color placement. I love this quilt. Wonderful job, Kelly, I can't wait to see the Queen Size.
Here is Sabrina's Kaffe Glacier Star in the layout phase. The colors remind me of Easter! Wait until the end of this blog post and you will see a gorgeous semi finish!
Pam chose to do bright batiks on black. The black really make the lone star portion pop! This is going to be a gorgeous rendition.
We also had a mannequin in the room. So we had a little bit of fun with her. Dressed her up in my Glacier Star and she looks a whee bit more stylish, don't you think?
Here is Janet's version. The black feathered star really frames the Glacier Star nicely. I love the orange tip on the middle snowflake star.
Look at Sabrina's Kaffe Glacier Star Quadrant!! Gorgeous and springy, don't you think??
Mary Beth's Asian Glaciaer Star. Very, very elegant looking! This is going on her bed and will add just that perfect touch.
Louise did another springy version too.
Don't you think that they all did a fantastic job? I love all the different versions, it always amazes me that each one can look so different and yet so alike and beautiful!!

I had a great time... now back to cold Connecticut!
