Hello Everyone,
I have a wonderful book to share with you, but first a funny story. Barbara Cline author and quilters extraordinare came out with this new book Amazingly Simple Triangle Stars in September of 2015. Because I had reviewed one of her other books, I immediately became intrigued with the new book. So I went ahead and made my purchase. And boy was I thrilled. Then Barbara Cline asked me to take part in her blog hop and of course I jumped right in and said YES!
From really one simple block you can make so many different designs just altering color placement. AMAZING! I want to share with you some of my favorites. The one pictured above is Diamond Rows. I simply love the gradation of color. Although I love her color palette, I might choose to use bright pinks and purples!
The next one is called Plying with Cubes. This one appeals to me on many levels. First of all it is black and white with a Splash of Color! Second, the stars sort of disappear and become links. Love this!! Lastly, the irregular edge... just give it a slightly different look than others.
Another one that caught my eye is Interlocking Cubes and Stars. This has so much movement and creativity in it... Again, it creates cubes of different sizes, stars, and an irregular edge. What is not to like right??
This is a book that needs to be on every quilter's bookshelf. Add it there for and take it out for a dose of creativity at any moment. But if you would like you could also win a copy right here!!!
