Hello Everyone,
In the last blog post you read about how I prepare for a Craftsy class. Today, I want to share with you a few of the behind the scenes photos. One of the cool things is that I work with such professional people at Craftsy! They know what they are doing every step of the way.
When you get on set, it is covered in lights and cameras and quilty things too. But what you see in class online is just the quilting studio. Very cool! The big difference between teaching on a set and teaching in a classroom is that the set is quiet and there are no students there. At first it is a little awkward and intimidating. But you do get used to it.
The crew really helps you if you stumble and if you have to stop... that is okay. Thank goodness they can edit when you say things like...blah, blah, blah... because you forgot what you wanted to say! LOL!
All works out great in the end and then you can breathe a sigh of relief. Well not until you see the finished video. I just got a chance to preview the video a couple of days ago and I can say that I am pretty happy with how the class turned out! I hope you will enjoy it too!
Thank you Craftsy for the great experience and helping me to present a class to quilters that I am proud of....
