I like to think that I always keep my promises. So you can count this one as kept!! My sister-in-law recently went to the Quilter's Heritage Celebration in Lancaster. I usually go but haven't been in the last couple of years due to unforeseen circumstances. (very sad :( face). Anyway, Cherrywood Fabrics is always there as they are one of the sponsors. I Love Mail!!

I have been so busy this week and my next few posts are definitely going to prove that. First off, I am very late in posting that my bunny arrived from Hannah at Gently Tip Toe. Not only did she make this very cute bunny that all my friends are loving, including myself, but she sent me a little goody box as well.My kids first noticed the goody box because there was lots of little candies in it, yes I have shared! Yo-Yo Update and PIF Challenge

Hi Everyone,I know that some of you have been wondering about those yo-yo's that I made from the Kaffe Fassett fabrics in this previous post. Mambo in Progress and Happy Easter!

I have actually made some headway on my Mambo quilt. I have cut all the fabric and have about 1/2 of the blocks complete. It is really a quick and easy quilt to make. Although, I am thinking of setting it on point and putting setting triangles in the border area. Yes, you are probably thinking that I am crazy, just make it simple. Stinkin' Cute Bag!!

Since purchasing the most recent copy of Quilts and More magazine, I have ooogled over every project. Then this week I decided to act. Yo-Yo's and Pincushions

I have been having so much fun!! I have been creating yo-yo's with some Kaffe Fassett fabric. I have been using this new tool from Clover and wow does it make it easier to do than the older methods. You can find the tool here or at your local quilt/craft shop. I used the XL yo-yo maker and the large yo-yo maker. This past weekend, my friend Pam and I went up to Vermont to finish our training on Autosketch. This program is a design program for the Statler Stitcher. Brian from Cowles did our training. Although it was a very long drive, as they are located right at the Canadian border, we took advantage of some stops along the way. Quilt shop stops.Our first stop was as Country Treasures. Color on My Feet!!

I have been busily binding the black, white, and red quilt for my friend and will have a completed picture soon. Black, White, and Red Top...Done! Ikea Furniture Up!

I have had and extremely busy 4 days! First things first. My hubby and I worked hard all weekend emptying a portion of my studio and then building 2 Ikea units, from the VARDE collection. We also put up 2 shelves from the LACK collection. I moved everything back in and I am completely organized and loving it.
