Hello Everyone,
I can't believe that it has been an entire month since my last blog post!! That is how fast time goes by when you are so busy. The entire month of April I was basically away teaching. I was teaching on a Quilting Cruise, which was so much fun! So much fun that I am doing another one next May... maybe you will join me. Check it out on my schedule here.
Then I came home for all of about 3 1/2 days and was off again. This time I went back to the "motherland"... my previous home Connecticut. I taught a 3 day long Boot Camp and was reunited with some of the best friends EVER! It was exhausting, rewarding, and FUN! These women are some of the most talented, fun, creative, and entertaining group that you will ever meet! I love them all and look forward to seeing them again next year.
Immediately when the boot camp ended, we took off to Vermont where I had one free sewing day to work on a project. And then the next day I began to teach a retreat. Another fabulous group of ladies, equally talented and fun!!
Whew! Then I arrived home and dove right into the catch up routine. I have several deadlines to meet for Quilt Market, with my new fabric line Fresh Pick'ins from Island Batik coming out!! Woohoo! All my patterns for the new fabric line are currently out and available by clicking here.
I have one last pattern to write, quilts to quilt for my fall line and get off for the photography... AND...then I am also preparing my drawings for another line of fabric with Island Batik too! Oh and today, I am teaching a class at the local quilt shop. WHEW!! Just a little more eye candy for you... I also made two Judy Niemeyer quilts in my new Spring Fabric Line.... the fabric will not be available until September!
And in there I have managed to find time to eat and do laundry. Cleaning the house... well, not so much! I really, really, really am going to TRY to blog more regularly. Now you can understand why I have been A.W.O.L. In the interim... I am so happy that you have come back to read today's post and hang in there with me.
Until Next Time...
