On Thursday October 27, and we quickly got to work! The hubs came with me again because I was launching my first fabric line and patterns with Island Batik. After a quick lunch we headed over to the convention center, picked up our badges. We went onto the market floor and found Island Batik first. We checked out the layout of the booth so that on Friday we could hang up my quilts after I presented them at schoolhouse.
After that we met up with the Niemeyer clan and helped them to set up their booth! That is always a ton of fun! Being a Certified Quiltworx.com Instructor has some perks and being able to see the newest and most fabulous creations of Judy and Judel Niemeyer is a major plus. But it is also super fun, hanging out with them too. The hubs really got into helping put the Quiltster booth together.
After that we were utterly pooped! We then joined them for dinner, drinks, and laughs. All in all it was a super fun day! Tomorrow I will show you pics from my schoolhouse and booth. And also some sneak peeks from some of the schoolhouses that I attended too!
Until Next Time...
