Today, I wanted to feature another quilt in my design collection for the Blue Moon Fabric Collection. Today I want to talk about Twisted. This quilt was born out of a love for making things wonky. But it was also a great way to showcase stripes! The Blue Moon Collection has some fabulous stripes in it... so this was the perfect fit. You can find the pattern here.
Just the perfect bit of "wonk" to show off those stripes. You use a Creative Grids 120 degree ruler to create those beautiful triangles that form those wonky squares.
I hope that you like this quilt! As added bonus, I also wanted to show you a few more things that were created with the Blue Moon Fabric Collection....
The first is this beautiful tuffet that Sharyn Cole, of The Tuffet Source and I collaborated on. I did the paper piecing around the sides with the block I used for my Spinning Wheels Pattern here. Then she completed the tuffet.
Also, these cute little critters, Melody Memory Bear, Ozzie Octopus, from Funky Friends Factory were created with the fabric collection. Aren't they fun? You can find the patterns here.
