Today is the third day of my review of some of the Craftsy Classes that I have taken AND your third day to enter to win a chance for $1000 for your favorite craft focused charity.
One of the biggest trends in quilting right now is English paper piecing and better yet hexies! Yes, I have a Grandmother's Flower Garden in Progress and I will share with you on a later blog post. The class I am reviewing now is Pieced Hexies: Beyond English Paper Piecing.
This class was phenomenal. I loved how Mickie Depre showed us how to make a seemingly "normal" hexie more dynamic! The technique that she shows really shows you how to add some interest to your piecing skills.
I grabbed some pics of some of the projects from the class that I think you will enjoy. All different, yet all beautifully unique.
She shows you some tips and tools that you can use too in your hand piecing that are very useful! I really can't wait to make my own Pieced Hexies!!! I hope that you will try this class here too.
