This year has been a great quilting year for me. Lots of quilts made AND published! As you know making quilts is extremely rewarding, but seeing the end result is just fantastic! Let me show you a few of my favorites...
Diamonds Down Under a published pattern of mine! I love it because it has a secondary zig zag effect. I used Australian and Kona Cotton Fabrics. The pattern or download can be found here.
This one is Rainbow's End, another favorite. I used bright and bold Australian fabrics and just loved doing this design. All 2 1/2" strips!! The pattern and download can be found here.
This is my hands down favorite batik quilt that I made. It is called Island Breeze. This one is a class favorite too! I will be teaching it on a quilting cruise in April of 2017. Would love for you to join me!! You can see all the information here about the cruise. If you would like the pattern or download you can find it here.
Now for some of my favorites from my book Splash of Color...
This is Proud Mary. A take on the drunkard's path block and made in memory of my Nana. I love this quilt!
Crossroads, a little more challenging of a quilt but it certainly tells a story. Are you up for a challenge?
Star Bright because we love to star gaze! A paper pieced quilt with a dramatic effect.
Lava Lamps... if you never had one you can now. I loved having a lava lamp and this one is extra colorful!
Twirling... because of the memories of my Pop-Pop and Nana twirling and dancing in their living room.
All of the above quilts can be found in my book Splash of Color here.
Ahhhh... The beloved Quiltworx Dresden plate! I made many of these in 2015 for my Craftsy class that I teach. I really love this block, it is so versatile and you can do so much with it!!
Here are a few more of the projects from the Craftsy Class. I just loved making them all!!! You can learn this too! Take my Craftsy class by clicking here for a discounted price!
Here is a little collage of some of my favorites, but there are so many more! Do you have a favorite? How many quilts did you complete this year and which are your favorites?
So much fun! Can't wait to see what I come up with next year!!!
Until Next Time...
