Hello Everyone,
For all of you that know me and have been following me for a while, know that I travel frequently to Arizona to teach and visit my family. Well, the hubs and I were there over Thanksgiving to spend time with family and to house hunt! And we found a place to call home. We will be moving next July, 2016.
The hubs and I have been wanting to move to Arizona for years. I have been visiting since my grandparents moved there in 1970 and then when the hubs and I met almost 30 years ago, he began coming with me and fell in love with it just like me. For us, there is so much to love about it. That is not to say that we don't love where we live now, but we just can't take the winters any longer. I know many of you love the winters, but we have had our fair share.
We have lived in the Northeast all of our lives and as adults we have come to appreciate the constant sun and warmth of Arizona over the unpredictable winters of New England. Yes, I know that some of you will say... it is hot in AZ in the summer!!! Yes, it is I can't deny that... but I love the heat!!! Yes, I said it, I LOVE it! And the best part is there is little to no humidity too... so yes, it is a dry heat!
We will miss our friends the most. Both of us have deep roots here in New England and will undoubtedly be back to visit. But our friends here are the best and we will always have that connection. We are excited that they will be coming to visit us too!
You might be asking... "What will happen to Canton Village Quilt Works?"... well it is moving with me. Yup, nothing is happening to it, just moving. But we are restructuring a bit.... In short, we will be moving... but not for 7 months. From a business standpoint, we need to sell our inventory as we just don't want to move it all. The sale will be quick and we hope you will take advantage of it.
You can continue to follow me here on my blog, in my newsletter, on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. All of that will continue now, through the move, and after... it will never end and you may get tired of hearing from me... LOL!
