One of the pleasures of Quilt Market is being able to see new things that we can bring home for our customers and sometimes for ourselves too! Well, as a Martingale Author, I had the pleasure of seeing all the new books that are out currently. I would love to share this wonderful book by Sue Spargo, a giant in the industry.
On my plane ride home I had the opportunity to read it on my journey home and wanted to share my thoughts and some pics of this wonderful book.
Sue's quilts and projects feature a variety of fabrics, colors, embellishments, but most of all warmth. The colors in the book are eye catching.
You look at each photo with awe. Looking around for that next big thing... there is so much going on they hold your interest and you just want to reach out and touch.
It is not a project book, but a book filled with inspiration for you next project. Using color and texture to the maximum here!
Looking at the attention to detail leaves you breathless.
You just want to run your fingers across the pages to feel the projects if you could!
Classic, folksy, modern all rolled up into one. A quilter's eye candy book for sure! I hope you love it as much as I do!!!
