Hello Everyone,
I hope you enjoyed yesterday's post on our tuffet making escapades. We certainly have been enjoying making them. So three of us were able to get together on Sunday to continue the construction process and here are some of the photos from that day.
Of course part of our quality control team had to make sure the batting and foam where soft enough for us to either sit on or possibly sleep on... Oh yeah he fell asleep reading the instructions too!
Then we started wrapping the tuffets with batting. It looks oddly like a Crab Rangoon.... don't you think? But we did have to trim it down. Once that was done....
We stacked them for our version of s'mores... or a summer snowman... did I actually write that four letter word... snow... oops there it is again!
Once the batting was wrapped around the foam and the base we then put our beautiful covers on and then took it for a little test drive! Yup we all sat on our tuffets just like Miss Muffet.
And we were all very pleased with how they felt!
But still have a little bit more to do... so we had to get off the tuffets.
We then covered our buttons. For mine, I used one of the flowers centers on one of my fabric selections.
Lisa did the same, using a flower center.
Caroline went with spots! They all look fabulous and we had to stop here. Lisa and I had a date with our hubbies. But Caroline went home and had her hubby actually help her in finishing hers! She wins the prize! I am hoping to get the hubs to help me finish mine tomorrow.
We had a great finish though...
Our inspector now moved to the box with the batting as his bed.... A great way to end the day!
Until Next Time...
