Hello Everyone,
Have you ever had that project that you just haven't finished?? Well, I have a bunch! Since I began long arm quilting back in 2000, I quilted for customers through 2012 and then stopped to only quilt for myself. Do you know what happens during the 12 years that you quilt for customers? Well, let's just say I have quite a few quilt tops that have accumulated and need quilting. It is about time!!!
The first to go on is this week... This one is A Touch of Spring. It is a Judy Niemeyer pattern that is no longer in print. I made this top, oh maybe in 2008 or so... I think that 7 years is long enough, don't you?
Here it is ready to go! I can't believe I am actually going to quilt this top! And before you say it, yes, I know I have a bit of thread.... but it is oh so pretty, isn't it? By the way, that is also another benefit of having quilted for customers, they often want particular thread colors. Believe me these get used too!
One other thing that is happening too...
More signature blocks for my 50th birthday quilt keep coming in! I am so excited. People from all over have sent them! I am overwhelmed!!
Here are all the squares I have so far. It is going to be such a pretty quilt! If you would like to contribute or just see the tutorial, click here to find out more.
Until Next Time...
