Hello Everyone,
Diligently working yesterday, all the units that you have been seeing have now become a quilt top!!! Yes, they have and I am thrilled with the results. Let me show you how my day went, first a teaser photo... (I must apologize for the darker photos.... it was night time and I was having a difficult time getting them to be a little brighter)
Here is the teaser shot of the middle of the bed runner. Nice, isn't it?
First thing in the morning, I finished sewing my last bit of arcs. The last of the curved piecing went very quickly.
My trusty assistant was sleeping on the job again. He is supposed to be quality control... good help is hard to find. But he is cute!
Then I began to sew blocks together. This is the stage that it gets your heart going... you know that feeling of satisfaction that you get when you have created something beautiful?
Putting more of the blocks on the wall. This runner is so big, it can't all fit on the design wall.
This is one of the outside edge blocks. Okay... are you ready for the big reveal??
Here it is... I love it. Now I have just a little bit of paper left to take off and I am doing that today. Then onto the long arm so that I can quilt it! I will also try to get a picture in natural light now that the weather is turning nice, I can take it outside to do some photography.
