Hello Everyone,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  I spent a good portion of it working on my second Bali Bed Runner!!!  I have some cool photos that I took that I wanted to share.  Making this bed runner requires you to make the arcs, the melons, and the center units.  Once all the units are done then you begin the curved piecing assembly.

This shows the middle units all lined up and ready to paper piece.  These units help to form the star in the middle of the Double Wedding Ring Arcs.

Here is the first round all done!  Love how they look all trimmed up, but they leave this...

A pile of trimmings.

Here is the second set of middle units, all lined up and ready to chain piece.

The trimmings, and...

The units!

Now all the melons are lined up and read to go for chain piecing.

When they are done these are easy to trim with Judy Niemeyer's Creative Grids Wedding Ring Template set, found here.

Aren't the melons all pretty when they are trimmed?

Here is the second set all done.

Now that all my units are done, I can begin the joining process and layout.  So stay tuned for some progress photos.  If you are interested in this pattern, you can find it by clicking here.

Until Next Time...
