Hello Everyone,
I am beyond excited, my Paradise in Blooms came back from my phenomenal quilter, Margaret Solomon Gunn. She did some fabulous work with her threads. I asked her to stitch in the ditch on most everything and then do some beautiful fill in many of the areas and just use her creativity. Without any further ado....
The middle of the quilt, she quilted some swirling feathers. Very appropriate and very beautiful!
The border treatment was perfect. With busy fabric, the linear quilting is just right!
Check out the different fills she used. Just gorgeous!!
Love the swirls and the echo quilting in the medallion.

But now onto the binding. I chose one of the darker "wine" colors that was in the quilt to frame it up on the outside. I am anxious to show off the quilt!
It is funny, when I began this quilt, I wasn't sure I was going to like the colors I chose. But as it grew, it grew on me. Now I am definitely in love with this quilt. When I sent it off to Margaret, I also sent the batting and what I chose to use was Quilter's Dream Wool batting. I love how it feels and the relief it give the quilting.
