Hello Everyone,
Over the past two days, I worked on the spikes that surround the ring on my Paradise in Blooms. Many of you are asking when will the pattern be in?? Well, I just checked the tracking and it left Montana on January 2 but isn't due here until January 13! Yup that is right almost 2 weeks to get to the east coast. I know, I am just as anxious as you. But as they say, patience is a virtue. On the bright side, we have the kits ready to go!
In the meantime, I want to show you my progress on this beauty...
I began the "ring of spikes" two days ago and now they are done!! Here is how I set up this last piece to be chain pieced. It is a thing of beauty and organization, don't you think?
Here are all the units ready to bring to the sewing machine. It is so nice to have them all lined up and ready to sew... zoom!
Oh, look who came to help me sew today! My boys love keeping me company, but I am not sure exactly how much help they are. I appreciate the company though!
All done!!! They look pretty all lined up. I love it, but love it even more on the design wall with the rest of the quilt.
See what I mean? Tomorrow I will be working on the corners which include baskets and flowers. Can't wait to get started!
