Hello Everyone,

I am happy with the progress that I am making on my Paradise In Blooms.  It is going faster than I planned and I am loving the touch of orange that I am adding.

Here is a little sneak peek of the inner dahlia against the outer dahlia.  I love the magenta outer dahlia with the orange injected in it, don't you?

I had to make two units today and they when fairly quick.  Chain piecing is the best for any kind of quilting.

Here is the first unit done and waiting to be trimmed up.

The second unit is halfway complete.  Some of the spikes here are a salmon kind of orange.

Here you can see the colors a little better.  The top piece there is the transition piece of salmon to orange.

The entire piece so far.  I am liking it!!  I guess part of me likes it more because there is now magenta in the quilt!!!  I love any shade of pink, any shade!!

If you would like to take the Paradise In Blooms Class with me next year, click here to see where I am teaching this beauty!  The pattern will be available on our website beginning the first week in January as well as a kit!

Until Next Time...
