Greetings!
Just a short post to show you some great book finds. With winter slowly approaching, I surely could use some new reading. I found two short novels, I assume they will be quick reads leaving me plenty of time to quilt. Anyway, check them out on Amazon or your favorite book store.
The first is for the cat or just plain animal lover. The story is about Dewey. Dewey is a cat who was abandoned as a kitten at a library in their book drop. He was subsequently found by the librarian the next morning with frostbitten paws. He was nursed back to health and lived in the library as a resident filling people with tons of happiness. Isn't Dewey cute? I can't wait to start reading this one.
The next one is a "to do" book. This is Glenna Hailey's new book. She has some spectacular projects in this book to start on during the winter. Great eye candy too! Thanks, Glenna for writing a wonderful book.
Last but not least, for those of you who follow Sylvia Compton and the Elm Creek Quilters, here is the latest installment. It is a short book (seasonal). It even has recipes in it! But we can see what Sylvia and the gang is up to in the kitchen. I hope that apple strudel recipe is included!!
