You know those projects that you had started and then put away, for whatever reason, and you just hadn't gotten back to them. Well this post is about one of those such projects. Once I got it out and started working on it, it left me scratching my head wondering why I had put it away in the first place.
I have been having so much fun with it and it started like this.....
A little more paper piecing, I love it!
Some finished arcs.
Some finished spikes.
Then the building process begins on the design wall!! Woo hoo, I just love it!!
A little more.
All up on the wall!! Now I just have to piece all the units together.
For those of you who are wondering the information on this quilt. It is called the Fourth of July and is a pattern by Judy Niemeyer
, one of my favorites. I just took another class from her about 2 weeks ago and am in the process of piecing one of her newest patterns. Loving that one too.
Seriously, if you ever have the opportunity to take a class from her do it!! I have several times and have learned something new each time! On my next post, I will have pictures and a slideshow from the class 2 weeks ago. So stay tuned for that post, it will be picture heavy!!
Also, on the home front, my newest newsletter
