Hello Everyone,
On Saturday, I had another wonderful sew-in with my friend Karen! However, I did all the sewing and she tried to get the hang of a serger for almost the entire day... yikes!! I told her to give it up multiple times, but she is quite a persistent lady. Funny thing is that we all tried to help (even her hubby) and to no avail, the serging just kept getting worse.
Any way, I was quite productive. First, I worked on a top secret project, the information on this will be shared at a later date. So for now you must settle for this...
My fourth whirlygig block!! I spent the second part of my day constructing a lime green whirlygig. I love it and it fits right in with the rest of them doesn't it?
I spent much of my time taking photos step by step of my procedure, so there will be a tutorial very soon... I promise!
For right now, I just can't explain how happy it makes me when I am working on these blocks. They are all so different from one another. Truly scrappy and truly from my scrap bucket. I should take a photo of that too.
I am enjoying these sew-in days with Karen!! Thank you for having me over, my friend. I really can get used to this!!
Stay tuned for a tutorial on this block, but before that make sure you come back on Wednesday for a very special giveaway!!
Also, check out the BRAND NEW fabrics from Philip Jacobs and Brandon Mably on my website. They are some of their tried and true prints, but in all NEW color ways. Simply stated, gorgeous!
Until Next Time...
