Hello Everyone,
Yesterday our Modern Connecticut Quilt Guild met at my house! What a treat for me to have this talented group of ladies in my own home.
I promised to show you everyone's orange blocks. I must say that I love each and everyone of them. They are all unique and simply gorgeous. A few members couldn't make it today so their blocks are still to come.
Here is a group shot of all the blocks together. They are just all so juicy and work well together, don't they?
This one is Jessica's block. She used a pattern from Elizabeth's Hartman's book. Love it!
Susan G. made this block. I really like the linear design and the repeat of the fabrics.
This one is from newcomer Elisa. She did this on short notice and blogged about it here. What a wonderful block.
This one was done by Maddie, Susan's daughter. Great use of the color and the fabric!
Heather made this gorgeous orange "log cabin" version. Love all the fabrics that she chose.
This was mine and I previously blogged about it here.
Susan Q. created this block and used some of her hand dyed fabric that I showed in my last post about our guild. You can see her fabric here.
Last but not least, we all brought in our purple/plum setting squares for our green pieced blocks from our last meeting. Here is a sneak peek at what it might begin to look like.
Doesn't it remind you of eggplant, just a little? We have a few blocks we are waiting on before they are all pieced together.
PS. Don't forget to enter my fabric giveaway by clicking here. Today is the last day!
Until Next Time...
