Hello Everyone,
On Saturday, I taught the second class in our "A Touch Of Spring" paper piecing project. I would like to share with you my student's progress thus far.
Noreen really did well with her homework. She had tons of the various units complete.
Our two sisters in class did quite well too. Love their blocks.
Such beauties... NY Beauties!
This is the OTHER Noreen's progress. Yes, can you believe it two students with the name Noreen in the same class and both have very different styles. Love this!
This is Rita's block. She is doing one similar to my class sample with chocolate and raspberry batiks. Love the combo!!
In this class, I taught them a very quick method to sewing curves! Here is Noreen's first block sewn together.
Then we worked on two new units that are part of the border. Noreen got these done. Next session, I will show them how to piece the "S" curve.
Here is Judy's "S" border unit.
This is Rita's Border corner unit.
The cool blues from Noreen's "S" units are awesome!
The other Noreen's corner border unit.
Last but not least Judy's quarter circle. She is using a combo of cotton prints and batiks.
This is the pattern they are all working on... now can you envision each of their versions? I am so looking forward to next class to see what they bring back!!
If you too, would like the pattern, you can purchase it here in my shop. If you would like to take a class with me, you can see my schedule by clicking here. If you would like me to come to your guild, or shop, just send me an e-mail.
