Hello Everyone,
On Saturday, I taught the second to the last class of the Glacier Star Technique of the Month (TOM). But what I really would like to say here is that I am just sooooo impressed with my students. This is a wonderful group of ladies.
They are dynamic, funny, accomplished, and just plain fun! I really enjoy teaching them. What I am most impressed with is ALL the color combinations that they had used for their Glacier Star Quilts.
I would like to share a few here, but I do have a full album to view by clicking here.
This one above is Lisa's. She had the most completed because she is super excited about this quilt and I LOVE her enthusiasm!
This is Gloria's version. I really like the greens and purples, they work so well together. She and Anne drive all the way from RI to take the class. They are a super pair.
This is Anne's version. She was having some neck problems during today's class so, she took it slowly, but managed to accomplish a bit.
The classroom was buzzing all day and the design walls looks gorgeous!!! This is a view from one side.
A view from the other side. Don't you just love seeing all the quilts on the walls? I know I do, it just makes me want to sit down and sew.
My students are also very hip and cool! They come dressed to impress and aren't afraid of color.
Even the bottom of her shoes are colorful!
Here I am with this fabulous group of ladies!! I just adore you all! Thank you for being such a wonderful class to teach.
Until Next Time...
