Hello Everyone,
This past Sunday, my hubby and I took my friend Deb over to Nantucket for the day. As some of you know my hubby has his pilot's license and loves to fly.
While we were there, I had to take tons of photos, but the ones that I love the most are of all the flowers. I especially love the ones of the various window box vignettes.
I wanted to give you all a little tour of them.
This one is one of my favorites. It is a yellow house like mine and has these glorious pink petunias which is my favorite color!!
Aren't these Shasta Daisies phenomenal!! They were just HUGE... they acted as a hedgerow. A very beautiful one at that!
Love the white picket fence.
The hydrangea blooms are fantastic. These are all on their last legs, but the burgundy color is gorgeous.
See what I mean....
Loved this little house... it was for sale, but waaaaaayyyy out of our price range. And it was actually bigger than it looks.... 4,200 square feet.
This house is all set for the fall already. Love the little mini pumpkins and the mums.
Glorious purple.
Loving the orange with the greenery.
Beautiful!
More pink petunias, right up my alley!
Another white fence and gate.
These window boxes are just packed full!
Perfectly preened garden. Just wonderful. See the one lonely purple hydrangea left?
Beautiful green!
I hope you enjoyed the Nantucket tour. If you want to see more photos from our day trip, just click here.
