Hello Everyone,
As you know I am moving to Arizona in just a few short weeks, and if you have never seen a cactus, there are quite a bit in Arizona. We actually have a beautiful Saguaro in our new backyard. Currently it is in bloom too! My dad took this photo for it. However, you really can't see the blooms on it as it was a slightly overcast morning there.
But this is what the blooms look like. Aren't they beautiful? A very different kind of beauty than I am accustomed to in the Northeast. But I love it. Our country has so much beauty within.
But I really would like to share with you some pics from the class I taught on Tuesday... it is the Arizona Cactus pattern from Judy Niemeyer. I taught the class at the Berks Quilter's Guild and these ladies were AWESOME! Many different color ways and what a lively group.
I enjoyed every minute of the class. The ladies were talented and funny. I taught them a lot and they also kept me entertained as well. It was a great day for all. I took a ton of pics and you can see a whole album here.
Would you like to learn this technique?? Take my Craftsy Class here:
Until Next Time...
