Hello Everyone,
After a very busy few days, I was able to work on getting my Prairie Star together. But first that required me taking papers off. One of the things that I always tell my students is that the easiest way to take paper off is to have someone else do it for you.... LOL! This time it was me and myself doing it while watching a little TV.
Once that was done, of course I had to have one of my inspectors help to make sure that I had all the seams lined up appropriately. Where was he when I was ripping the papers off??
Then he got just a little lazy and really wanted my attention. He just is too funny and always leaves me with a great big smile on my face. I do love his company when I am quilting.
So the Prairie Star got about this far yesterday. I just have the borders to apply and it is done. I have quite a bit of time today to add them and I think that I will get it done! So excited!!! What do you think?
If you like the pattern you can find it here. It is a popular one and a great lone star pattern. Would you like to learn how to paper piece, you might want to take one of my classes below... just click on the pics to learn more.
I am hoping tomorrow to show you the completed Compass Rose Table Runner and my Geese In Flight Placemats too! I love how they turned out!!
Until Next Time...
