Hello Everyone,
Tuesday was a great day! I taught a great workshop with the Silver City Quilt Guild in Raynham, MA. These ladies were totally awesome. They really rocked the class. You will see why in a second!
The Mini Stars Table Runner is made up of LeMoyne Star blocks, three large and four small. The best part is they are paper pieced. This is a wonderful beginner Judy Niemeyer pattern.
If you have made a LeMoyne Star before you know that you need to deal with diamonds and their bias edges. With this pattern you don't need to, just start to paper piece! And it is small enough so that it goes together pretty quickly.
These ladies made a large and small star in class. And they really rocked it!! Look at all the variations they made. The colors are all different and I can't wait to see their finished runners.
The best part is they make up for a quick little gift or what about making them for the seasons? One of the ladies was making hers for Christmas! Some looked like spring. Would you like to see more pics? Just click here and there are a bunch with lots of happy quilters too!
This is my table runner! Some Kaffe and the red is batik. I really like it! You can get the pattern here. Join the fun and make one too! Have you ever make a LeMoyne star black and what did you turn it into?
Learn how to paper piece with me in one of my two online classes. Just click on either photo below or here for a 50% discount on either class.
I hope to see you in the virtual classroom, but hope to see you in my regular classroom some day too!
Until Next Time....
