Hello Everyone,
Last Thursday through Sunday, I was teaching a quilt retreat in Rangeley, Maine at Threads Galore!  I can't begin to tell you what a great group of ladies they were.  They were all working on one of three projects.  The Cactus Flower Table Runner, The Arizona Cactus, or Island Breeze (my design).  So I wanted to show you what they created!  Lots of great pics... enjoy!

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday was the last day of teaching at a Quiltworx retreat.  I had a great time with these ladies and they were extremely productive!  Although everyone was making something different it was so nice to watch them grow and evolve each day.  One of our favorite things to do beside eat and sew is to hang quilts over the balcony on a nice day and take photos.  I have a few to share as well as the progress on the walls.

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday, I arrived in Montana to teach with Judy Niemeyer at her retreat center.  But I must say, I left 80 degree and Sunny weather for  44 degrees and TONS of rain!  You got to know I love her and teaching right?  Because if you know me, I really am not a fan of the cold weather... So right now I am in paper piecing heaven!  Yup, that is right, there is such a thing!!  Let's take a peek at what happened yesterday.

From last Thursday through Sunday, I was AWOL, well sort of.... I spent the long weekend with 17 of my closest quilting buddies on the first annual CVQW retreat!!  We had a fantastic time and produced tons.  It was a lot of work getting ready for it and implementing  the retreat but soooo totally worth it.

This past weekend, I taught a retreat at Olde City Quilts in NJ.  This group was fantastic!  Boy did they get a lot accomplished.  It was a feathered star retreat and they could make either the wall hanging or queen size.  It was split pretty even.  And boy did they choose wonderful fabrics!

This past weekend, I had the chance to return to the Strong House Inn in Vergennes, VT to teach the Bali Bed Runner class.  Mary and Hugh, who own the inn are the most wonderful hosts and I love going there to teach.  We had a great group of ladies that attended and they accomplished a TON!!! Hello Everyone,I had a TON of fun at our annual spring retreat in Vermont with 32 wonderful women.  I selected a few photos of some of the happenings this past weekend...Sue's Glacier Star, ready for the last class!! Hello Everyone,Yesterday was our last day at the retreat that I was teaching at the Strong House Inn in Vergennes, VT. Hello Everyone,Sunday was our last day at the retreat and there were some finishes and TONS of progress too.Erica made two of these log cabin quilts for a bedroom in her home in NY.  Carol made this cute Halloween quilt.And she also made this quilt called Opposites Attract.  This one was just really big!Diane has some really great looking blocks on the design wall.Darlene forgot to bring her Show and Tell on Saturday, so she brought them with her.  This one is called Day and Night.  Just beautiful!This one is another great quilt... love the colors.Kim made progress on her...

Hello Everyone,Okay, so who said that quilt retreats were just for quilters... this one has gone to the dogs!!Meet Crispy, who came to visit us with her very own quilted jacket!! What a sweetie.Crispy's favorite quilter was her "Mom" Shirley.  Shirley is not only a great quilter who comes to our retreats, but also our resident masseuse!! Hello Everyone,Yay, yesterday was the first day of our quilt retreat and I have been getting things accomplished.  My plan is to actually get several quilt tops completed!!  Do you think I can do it?? This is the first one...Stepping Stones, by Judy Niemeyer done in Kaffe Fassett fabric.  Both available in my shop here and here.I am loving how it is turning out!!Eleanor completed her high rise.Kathy completed her table topper. Everyone is contributing Quilts of Valor blocks.We are all doing red and white blocks for a swap.Justine's Village Green is on it's way!!  Looking good!Stay tuned tomorrow for more.Until Next...
