This is an exciting post for me.... back in October when I was at Quilt Market, I was showing my signature collection of fabric with Island Batik.... Fresh Catch and pattern line. At that time my friend Kate Colleran of Seams Like A Dream Quilt Designs, popped by to say hello, we chatted for a while and then I introduced her to Leah Day another designer for Island Batik and quilter extraordinare!
Kate asked me if she could use some of my fabric line to create a quilt and then Leah would quilt it. Well of course! I was excited to see what they would do!
What a great collaboration! A super cute mini quilt and it was expertly quilted. I always love to see the different ways in which quilters interpret fabric selections and how to quilt them too!
