Hello Everyone,

Yesterday, was a sew day!  I worked on getting the ring around the Dahlia pieced.  Wait until you see what it looks like!  I am very excited as this quilt continues to grow.  When you are working on a quilt, don't you feel the same way? Let's see what I accomplished...

Here is one of the units that I had to complete.  There are 4 basic units that make up the ring.  If you recall, I had only one unit made up and on the design wall in the prior blog post.  Today, I completed two more.... so just one more to go!!  

Here are what the two that I completed look like together.  The form a spikey flower.  I love the pop of gold.

This photo show the two units together around the whole quilt.  But wait, I did say I completed three of the units that make up the ring, right?  

Here are the three that I completed.  Tomorrow, I hope to complete the forth and then move onto the spikes that surround the ring.  What do you think?  I am definitely liking it more and more as the units go up!
