Hello Everyone,It was opening day of the Things With Wings show and it was quite a thrill for me.  We have some spectacular quilts in the show, including the one above.  This one just WOW"ed" me!  I think I may have to replicate this one in black and white fabrics.The WWII Quilts are hung right near the B-29.  Impressive quilts and plane.Lots of great light to show off the quilts and tons of room to move around and see the planes and quilts.Local CBS Channel 3 News came and did a little segment on the 5:30 news! Hello Everyone,I just had to do it!! I had to showcase my friend Karen's Quilt. She did a fabulous job piecing this and selecting the fabrics. Many of the fabrics are Kaffe, but she has others in there too. She really has a great eye for color.She asked me to custom quilt this for her as it is a gift for her daughter. She used the BOM pattern from the Quilt Show, their first one, and adapted it slightly.It is a medallion style quilt with this gorgeous feathered star in the middle. Good Morning,Since my last posting, I was able to complete the binding on BOTH quilts you saw!! Yay!! So now I have 2 down in both Eileen's and Peg's Challenges. Here are pictures of both completed projects.We also managed to take a long weekend and do our yearly trek to Hershey Park...mmmmmm chocolate and to the Kutztown Folk Festival. Hi Everyone,I just got back from Kansas. I attended the SUGAR (Statler User Group and Rep) conference and MQS (Machine Quilter's Showcase). I had a blast and learned a lot.
