Hello Everyone,
About 2 weeks ago, my hubby and I were in Arizona visiting family and vacationing. During our time there we were able to take advantage of going to the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. While we were there, Dale Chihuly had an exhibit throughout the gardens.
If you are not familiar with Chihuly, you will be in love when you see these photos. Dale Chihuly, after receiving a Fulbright Fellowship, went and worked in the Venini Glass Factory in Venice, Italy and he has quickly become an icon. His exhibits and installations are all over the globe. I was lucky enough to see my first exhibit in Boston. Oh my was it wonderful! Just what I love.... color, color, and more color.
The installation in the desert was different, but equally inspirational. Because it was springtime in the desert, flowers were blooming too!! So yes... more color! Be prepared for TONS of photos and color everywhere....
These are just a few select photos from our visit to the Desert Botantical Gardens. If you are ever in Phoenix you really need to go there. The Gardens are wonderful. Click here to see there website.
