Hello Everyone,
Well, I am off to Quilt Market tomorrow and very excited. But in the meantime, I wanted to share a few things with you.
First, visit me here on my newest Quilt Magazine Blog Post and get a little color inspiration. I would love you to leave a comment there about your thoughts on color and quilts.
Now for my Mother's Day adventure. My family took me up to Chester, Vermont to see some of my friends and a wonderful quilt show, Quilts Around Town. The quilts were displayed in various buildings around town. I would love to share some of these beauties with you.
The first display was Quilts of Valor. These are just two of the quilts in the display.
Now for some awesome civil war era quilts.
Love the above signature quilt!
There were some beautiful quilts hanging on the porches too!
Then onto the newer quilts. I had my fill of color here.
This is one that I had quilted for a customer. Below is some of the detail. I was a quilt with Asian flair.
This Baltimore Album was a beauty!
I love the tabs on this quilt, in lieu of a hanging sleeve. This was done because it was totally reversible.
This was the backside!
I hope that this inspired you. I had a wonderful day with my family and was able to see some of my quilty friends and quilts too!
I will be reporting to you from Quilt Market. Lots of fun is being planned and I will be meeting up with tons of blogging buddies. So stay tuned for market updates!
