Hello Everyone, Since Wednesday I have been in Vermont teaching at Vermont Quilt Festival.  I have been having a great time and have met some wonderful people!  But I have some photos to show you from Sunday.... so I am playing catch up. On Saturday, I had the great pleasure of actually being a student in a class rather than teaching!! Yup, it was soooooo much fun.  I took the One Block Wonder class in my own studio from Instructor Sally Murray.  Sally has made many One Block Wonders and I asked her to teach it at the studio and we all had a blast.

Hello Everyone,I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a wonderful 2014!!Yesterday was a very impromptu day at the studio.  Several of the "regulars" at the studio decided to get together to sew.  Funny though... Hello Everyone,Sunday was a truly wonderful day for me!  Not only did I get to spend with my great friend Deb, but she also helped me clean my studio and get organized!!!I just love the feeling of freedom and that is exactly how I felt.  I had been living with TONS of scraps under my sewing area and on top of my sewing area, around my sewing area… well you get my point.Any how… I am now FREE!  Free to move around, free to sew, free to cut, just plain free and darn it feels great!This is what we started...

Hello Everyone,Yesterday marked the end of the very first 6 month session of the Glacier Star Technique of the Month in my new classroom studio.  I am actually quite sad it is over. Hello Everyone,Remember when I opened my new studio, I had mentioned that I would be putting design walls up to cover the length of both walls in the room?? Well we finally got to do it yesterday.  My hubby had the day off from work and we went to town!!But he was totally awesome, because on Sunday while I was teaching in NY, he went to Lowes to get the foam insulation boards so that I could wrap the fleece around them.  Let me tell you he did not have an easy time and needed to get 19 of them!!!Anyway...

Hello Everyone,Yesterday, I spent the day setting up my new studio/classroom.  All the chairs, tables, and waste baskets are in place. Well, today is our wedding anniversary! I got up early wished my hubby a happy and came down to update my blog!! We did celebrate on Friday, by going to see Larry the Cable Guy at Mohegan Sun. After being married for 18 years you need to have some sense of humor. He was very funny!
