Hello Everyone,

It has been sometime since I blogged, but I am back!  I must tell you it has been a hectic month for me, a VERY BIG deadline has been met and my time is somewhat "freeing" up.  Right now I am knee deep in something that is very near and dear to my heart.  A quilt show that I began 3 years ago because my husband's hobby is flying and mine is quilting.  I wanted to blend the two together and have a quilt show at the New England Air Museum.  Best of all this show benefits the museum, which is a non-profit organization that has a wonderful and rich history inside it's doors.

By blending the two together, it make for a very unique venue.  Not only quilters come, but families, spouses, friends to see not just the quilts, but the planes and history!

On Sunday, we hung the show and Monday the weeklong show opened!  We have some spectacular quilts and in addition a special exhibit of WWI quilts.

Let's get a little sneak peek.

These students were terrific too.  Let's see what they did.

Hello Everyone,

On my third day of teaching, I taught a great beginner paper piecing class, Stepping Stones.  This Judy Niemeyer pattern is great for a beginner because there are no curves and you can use pre-cut 2.5 inch strips.  We all have those, right?? The students in the class had some great color combos and really caught onto the technique!!
